How it works
Pick a session and a time. Pay online, get a confirmation and a short waiver to sign on your phone.
Coveralls, heavy gloves, a full-face shield and boot covers. Five-minute safety briefing. Pick your playlist.
Your crate, your large items, your weapons, your room. A staff member watches through the window and tops you up if you run out.
Catch your breath in the lounge, grab your GoPro clip if you ordered one, and go find a pint.
What you can break
We source breakables from house clearances, offices upgrading their kit and recycling centres, so every printer you flatten was heading for the skip anyway. Afterwards it still is — we sort and recycle what we can.
Plates, mugs, bowls, teapots. The classics. Shatter beautifully.
Bottles, jars, vases, picture frames. Loud, bright, gone.
Printers, keyboards, monitors, flat-screen TVs. Especially printers.
Chairs, drawers, side tables. Takes a few swings. Worth it.
The ex's mug. Your old work laptop. Exam notes. We'll check it's safe, then it's yours to end.
Safety
The whole point is that you can go flat out. That only works because everything else is locked down.
Full-face shield, coveralls, heavy gloves and boot covers for every person, every session. Closed-toe shoes required.
Boarded walls, no windows you can reach, a sealed floor, and a viewing window so staff see everything.
In Solo and Duo, one person smashes while the other waits behind the line. Groups rotate, with a marked clear zone.
A five-minute safety briefing before you go in, and a waiver signed on your phone. 18+, or 16–17 with a guardian present.
Nothing with batteries, aerosols, liquids, CRT tubes or fluorescent tubes goes in. We check everything you bring.
If we think you've been drinking you don't go in, and there's no refund. Save it for afterwards.
Full rules on the terms & safety page. The archery range and the axe lanes have their own rules.
FAQ
Yes. You wear a full-face shield, coveralls, heavy gloves and boot covers, you're in a purpose-built room with a staff member watching through the window, and you get a safety briefing first. Nobody shares a room with a swinging hammer: one person smashes at a time in Solo and Duo, with a clear zone for the other.
Your own items are welcome if they're on our allowed list: crockery, glass bottles, small electronics without batteries or screens, picture frames, paperwork. No TVs with CRT tubes, no aerosols, no batteries, no liquids, nothing with a sentimental owner who'll want it back.
Central Brighton. We're finalising the unit now and the early-access list will be the first to know the address, before we announce it publicly.
We're aiming for early 2027. Everyone on the early-access list gets priority booking for the opening weeks, before public slots go live.
No. Anyone we think has been drinking or is under the influence won't be allowed in the room or on the range, and the session won't be refunded. The pub is for afterwards.
Early access
